Prerequisites
- You must be logged in to the TerraGo Web Application.
- You must have access to the selected record.
Overview
The Attributes page provides detailed information about a selected record. Depending on the selected record type and your organization's configuration, the page may display record attributes, attached records, diagrams, recent readings, map views, actions, and other information.
The Attributes page allows users to review record information, navigate to related records, and, when available, perform additional actions without returning to the map or table.
Opening the Attributes Page
The Attributes page can be opened from either the Map View or the Table View.
From the Map:
- Select a map pin.
- When the Asset Card appears, select the record title.
From the Table:
- Locate the desired record.
- Select the record title.
The Attributes page opens for the selected record.
Understanding the Attributes Page Layout
The Attributes page is organized into several sections to make it easier to view information about a record.
At the top of the page, the selected record's name and symbology are displayed, making it easy to confirm which record you are viewing.
Below the header are one or more tabs that organize the information available for the selected record. The tabs displayed may vary depending on the selected record type and your organization's configuration.
At the bottom of the page is a navigation path that displays the records you've opened while navigating through related assets. As you open additional records, the navigation path updates, allowing you to easily return to previously viewed records.
Details Tab
The Details tab is displayed by default when the Attributes page opens.
This tab provides general information about the selected record. Depending on your organization's configuration, information available on the Details tab may include:
- Record type
- Status
- Coordinates
- Creation date
- Installation information
- Diagrams
- Recent readings
- Map views
- Additional organization-specific information
The information displayed varies based on both the selected record type and your organization's implementation.
Attached Records Tab
The Attached Records tab displays records that are linked to the selected record.
Attached records are grouped by record type, making it easier to locate related assets. Depending on your organization's configuration, attached records may include any supported record type.
Selecting an attached record opens that record's Attributes page, allowing you to continue navigating between related assets.
Actions
Depending on your organization's configuration and the selected record type, one or more Actions may be available from the Attributes page.
Actions allow users to perform record-specific tasks without returning to the map or table. Because available actions are configurable, the actions displayed may differ between organizations and record types.
Configuration Differences
The Attributes page is fully configurable to meet each organization's business requirements.
Depending on your organization's implementation and the selected record type, the layout, information displayed, available fields, and available actions may vary.
As a result, your Attributes page may look different from the examples shown in this article.
