Publisher for Raster allows you to batch-generate GeoPDF files from georeferenced or orthorectified image files in ADRG, CADRG, CIB, IMG, JP2, MrSID, NITF, and TIFF file formats via the Command Prompt.
You can use the supported options to specify:
-
File generation parameters such as compression type and quality, PDF map scale and DPI, and tile width and height in pixels
-
Whether the image style should be grayscale or RGB
-
Whether the application should apply a histogram stretch to improve color balancing on visible spectrum data
-
Whether the input file has to be GeoRegistered.
You can define file generation parameters through the Publisher for Raster user interface and then save those parameters to an .XML configuration file for use when batch processing via the Command Prompt. You can also use .XML configuration files created using a prior version of Publisher for Raster, however, the file generation process accepts only the bands that represent the base RGB colors. It does not accept any additional color bands.
Publisher for Raster uses the GDAL 1.8.0 translator library released by the Open Source Geospatial Foundation for raster geospatial data formats. Refer to GDAL's specifications for supported versions and limitations at http://www.gdal.org/.
