Getting Started

Before you install Publisher for Raster, make sure that your machine meets the necessary requirements.

You must have Administrator rights on your machine to run the installer.

Microsoft® .NET™ Framework version 2.0 is required to run the Publisher for Raster application.

You must activate Publisher for Raster before you can use it. You can activate the software when the installation process completes or on demand via Start > All Programs > TerraGo Technologies > Publisher for Raster > Activate Publisher for Raster. For more on activating GeoPDF Publisher for Raster, see Activating.

System Requirements

Before you install Publisher for Raster, make sure that your machine meets the following hardware and software requirements:

Hardware

• 512k RAM or greater recommended

• 45 MB of hard disk space for Publisher for Raster

• 32-bit or 64-bit Processor

Supported operating systems

• Microsoft® Windows® XP

• Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003

• Microsoft Windows 7 with Command Prompt access

Software requirements

• Adobe Acrobat® / Adobe Reader version 8.1.7 or later, 9.x or X (for viewing GeoPDF files)

• GeoPDF Toolbar

• Microsoft .NET™ Framework version 2.0

Notes:

• The Adobe products require hard disk space in addition to that noted above.

• Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 is not installed on your machine, the Publisher for Raster installation program automatically downloads the necessary installation files.

• Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 requires hard disc space in addition to that noted above.
