The GeoMark Enable tool allows you to enable a GeoPDF file for GeoMarks in Adobe Reader. When you save a geospatially-aware PDF file, it becomes a GeoPDF file.
When a GeoPDF file is GeoMark Enabled, end users can:
-
add GeoMarks (notes, points, rectangles, lines, polylines, polygons, and stamps) to their GeoPDF files and then edit the comments, attributes, attachments and links associated with those GeoMarks.
-
import features as GeoMarks to their maps, delete GeoMarks from their maps, and export GeoMarks, or imported geospatial data into .shm, .kml /.kmz or .twx/.twz file format so that they can then import the GeoMarks into a GIS, Google Earth, GeoPDF Toolbar, GeoPDF Composer and GeoPDF Publisher for ArcGIS.
-
create filters for viewing GeoMarks, manage peer-to-peer imports and exports and access the GeoPDF Collaboration Manager.
Notes:
-
3D GeoPDF files do not support GeoMarks.
-
GeoPDF Composer 5.0 and later enables a GeoPDF file for GeoMarks when you save the file.
-
For instructions on how to access the GeoRegister tool, see Accessing the GeoPDF Composer Toolbar.
