The Advanced Options dialog box allows you to:
-
Optimize the output GeoPDF file for performance on TerraGo Mobile
-
Define text to be appended to the output file name
-
Require that the source image file be GeoRegistered
-
Specify the version of GeoPDF Toolbar the output file should be compatible with
-
Override the coordinate system in the source image file
-
Alter tile dimensions.
If your source image file is ADRG file format, you can only define text to be appended to the output file names.
In this section:
Accessing Advanced Options
Click on the Advanced Options button in the lower right corner of the Publisher for Raster UI.
Optimize for TerraGo Mobile
Check the Optimize for TerraGo Mobile box if you want to allow the file generation process to optimize the output GeoPDF file to be viewed on TerraGo Mobile. The default is unchecked.
When you select Optimize for TerraGo Mobile, Publisher for Raster sets the Make Compatible With option to TerraGo Toolbar 3+ and Mobile (OGC).
File Name Suffix
In the File Name Suffix text box, specify the default text to be appended to the output file name.
Require Georegistration
Un-check the Require Georegistration box if you want to prevent the file generation process from requiring the source image file to be GeoRegistered. The default is checked.
Make Compatible With
In the Make Compatible With box, choose the version of GeoPDF Toolbar the GeoPDF file should be compatible with:
-
GeoPDF Toolbar 3+ and Mobile (OGC) (default): Requires that the GeoRegistered PDF files to be assembled in a map or a MapBook be encoded using TerraGo's GeoRegistration encoding method that was published as an OGC best practice in 2008. The OGC best practice is the most widely distributed GeoRegistration encoding in terms of existing PDF libraries and workflows because GeoPDF was the only geospatial PDF available preceding the release of Acrobat 9.
-
GeoPDF Toolbar 5+ (OGC Preferred) prefers that the GeoRegistered PDF files to be assembled in a map or a MapBook be encoded using TerraGo's GeoRegistration encoding method, but allows GeoRegistered PDF files encoded using the ISO 32000 method.
-
GeoPDF Toolbar 5+ (ISO Only) requires that the maps to be assembled be encoded using the ISO 32000 GeoRegistration encoding method.
Note: Adobe implemented a different PDF GeoRegistration encoding when it released Acrobat 9 and submitted that method to ISO as a proposed extension to ISO 32000. Both OGC and ISO GeoRegistration methods encode the same information; however, more coordinate systems are supported using Adobe's GeoRegistration encoding. TerraGo software is capable of reading and writing both encoding methods.
Specify Spatial Reference
To override the coordinate system of the source image file, click Specify Spatial Reference.
Tile Dimensions
Tile Width: Specify the width of each tile in pixels. The default is 1024.
Tile Height: Specify the height of each tile in pixels. The default is 1024.
Note: If there is no source image specified in the Source Image File box in the main window, Tile Width and Tile Height default to 128.
