--combined

Generates optional combined coverage area maps.

--debug

Shows the debug trace messages.

--dpi=NUM

Sets the dots-per-inch image resolution for GeoPDF files. Default value is 72.

Note: Cannot be used if --scale=NUM is used.

--format=Format 1 or Format 2

Displays the predefined caption label formats for the GeoPDF file

Format 1: Generates a GeoPDF file where the labels are placed in their traditional places. The filename label displays at the top above the main map at the left margin. The scale label displays beneath the map at the left margin. The filename label displays again beneath the scale label.

Format 2: Generates a GeoPDF file where the map name label displays at the top above the main map at the left margin. The scale label displays beneath the map at the left margin. To the right of the scale label is the Limited Distribution label that includes the agencies approved to receive the map. The filename label displays beneath the scale label.

--help

Displays a help page with the information included in this topic.

--license

Displays the license and version information.

--overview

Generates optional overview maps that display at 1/16 of the original ADRG resolution.

--prefix=TEXT

Prepends the specified text to all output file names.

--quality=NUM

Sets the JPEG compression quality level (1-100). Default value is 80.

--scale=NUM

Creates maps to a specified scale (1:NUM). The default scale is source GEN.SCA value.

Cannot be used if --dpi=NUM is used.

--subfolder

Creates subfolders based on the ADRG's product name.

--suffix=TEXT

Appends the specified text to all output file names.

--version

Displays the adrg2pdf.exe version associated with Publisher for Raster installed on your machine.

--config=<f>

<f> is the name of the .XML configuration file to be used in the file generation process.

--dpi=<r>

<r> is the PDF image resolution in dots-per-inch. The default value is 300; does not accept negative numbers.

Cannot be used if --scale=<s> is used.

DPI values set larger than the input file do not increase the DPI of the output files.

If you use --dpi=<r> with --tilewidth=<x> and / or --tilelength=<y> and you set the DPI greater than the default value in the input file, the output tiles may be larger than expected because the DPI option changes the pixel appearance on the screen. Similarly, if you set the DPI less than the default value in the input file, the output tiles may be smaller than expected.

--histoapply

Applies a standard deviation histogram stretch to the visible spectrum data on the base map image to improve color balancing.

--histostddevs=<n>

<n> is the number of standard deviations to apply in the histogram stretch.

--license

Displays license information.

--quality=<q>

<q> is the JPEG image quality in percent (0-100). The default value is 80.

--requiregeo<=false>

If false, the image does not require georeferencing. If true, displays an error if any image is not georeferenced. The default is true.

--scale=<s>

<s> is the PDF map scale (1:x). Invalid for non-georeferenced images.

Cannot be used if --dpi=<r> is used.

When you use only the --scale option, the geoextent is also used to calculate the output PDF size, for example min = 1in and max = 200in.

--tilewidth=<x>

<x> is the tile width in pixels; the default value is 1024; does not accept a 0 value or negative numbers.

--tilelength=<y>

<y> is the tile height in pixels; the default value is 1024. Does not accept a 0 value or negative numbers.

--version

Displays the raster2pdf.exe and raster2pdf.dll versions associated with Publisher for Raster installed on your machine.
